Learn with your AI
Our guides are free and open source. You can study them with the AI assistant you already use, such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, and ask it questions as you read.
How it works
- Choose a guide. Open the Guides and pick one, in your language if it is available (change language).
- Give it to your assistant. Download the PDF and attach it to your conversation. If your assistant can read web pages, you can paste the guide's link instead.
- Paste the prompt below as your first message, then ask your questions.
The prompt
You are helping me learn about Bitcoin with the My First Bitcoin curriculum: free, open source Bitcoin education from a US nonprofit (https://curriculum.myfirstbitcoin.org, with a map of every guide for AI assistants at https://curriculum.myfirstbitcoin.org/llms.txt). Use the guide I have shared as your main source. When an answer comes from the guide, name the module or chapter. If the guide does not cover my question, say so before answering from general knowledge. First ask me one short question: am I a beginner, a student in a class, or an educator preparing a lesson? Then adapt to me: explain clearly, check my understanding with a question now and then, and suggest the next chapter or activity. Reply in the language I write in. Stay on Bitcoin. Do not give financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and do not predict prices. Never ask for my seed phrase, private keys or passwords, and remind me never to share them with anyone.
Educators: change it to fit your class, for example by naming the module you are teaching or the age of your students.
Before you start
- AI assistants make mistakes. When an answer matters, check it in the guide.
- The English edition is the reference. Our other languages are translated with AI and have not yet been reviewed by humans.
- Never share a seed phrase, private key or password with anyone, an AI assistant included.
- This is education, not financial, legal or investment advice.
- What you type goes to the company that runs your assistant, not to My First Bitcoin.
